More terror suspects held

MANAMA: Three more people suspected of plotting to carry out terror bombings during National Day and Accession Day celebrations have been placed in custody for 15 days.
“They have admitted, in the presence of their lawyers, to planning to manufacture explosives and Molotov cocktails,” a General Prosecution spokesman said.

MANAMA: Three more people suspected of plotting to carry out terror bombings during National Day and Accession Day celebrations have been placed in custody for 15 days.
“They have admitted, in the presence of their lawyers, to planning to manufacture explosives and Molotov cocktails,” a General Prosecution spokesman said.
The trio has also reportedly confessed to taking part in riots and acts of sabotage, in addition to hurling Molotov cocktails at riot police.
They are accused of belonging to an unlawful group, plotting to prevent the state from carrying out its duties and transgressing people’s personal liberties by resorting to terrorism.
