His colleagues got worried when he failed to reach the pick-up point for their company transport.
“A search was carried out and he was found hanging from the makeshift staircase leading to the building’s roof,” a source said.
It was not clear why he killed himself. The incident happened near the Middle East Bakery and the Iranian School.
In the other incident, 33-year-old M K Vinod hanged himself around 3am near the stairs of the building where he stayed.
His body was discovered after 4am by Bangladeshi neighbours in Manama who were leaving for work.
The goldsmith by profession, who had been in Bahrain for over eight years, was running a cold store in Manama for the last four months, sources said.
Mr Vinod, from Trissur, Kerala, had suffered a loss in his business and was in debt, they said.
They added that he had seemed upset for a week.
He leaves behind his father, mother, wife and a 10-month-old child.
Mr Vinod’s body, now at the Salmaniya Medical Complex mortuary, is expected to be repatriated on Sunday.
